Other important resources for students:

  • Students coping with stress related to the Novel Coronavirus outbreak are also welcome to contact the UW Counseling Center. Their office is providing all services via secure Zoom.
  • UW has a longstanding program offering Emergency Aid for students in distress. https://www.washington.edu/emergencyaid/
  • UW has a loan program to support students who need access to computing equipment. See their Facebook page:  https://www.facebook.com/uwstlp
  • Internet providers are also offering affordable rate programs for those in need. Information on the Comcast program is here. Other providers nationwide are starting to provide similar programs, and we encourage you to check with providers in your area.
